Russ Webb
Principal Russ is from a line of professional drummers with both his father and grandfather playing professionally around the UK. Jazz and Swing drumming being the Webb family passion. From the moment he could sit up, ”Lil Webby ” was sitting behind a drum kit and traveling all over England sitting in with his dads’s working bands.
Upon finishing School at 18, Russ went on to hone his craft studying drums and percussion in the midlands and London, and when not running the family Drum Shop, he would perform extensively around the country, excelling in all musical styles.
In 2009, Russ turned professional; playing all over the UK, with hundreds of artists, live on stage and in studio sessions. He has learnt and performed a multitude of genres in his time, including; theatre, jazz, Latin, rock, pop, classical and reggae.
In honour of his late father, Brent, Russ now runs his own drum shop and teaching facility in Northampton, called ‘The BW Drum School’. Growing rapidly and extensively over the last few years, Russ is excited to launch the Kettering-based ‘Beats Academy of Music’, bringing a wealth of knowledge and teaching experience to the company.

Senior Teacher Mitch comes from a rich pedigree of musicians specialising in the tuition of a host of different styles and techniques.
With over 35 years of playing experience covering various genres of music. Specialities- Recording Technique, Rock Drumming, Double Pedal, Rock School Grading, Vocabulary and Live Performance.
