What's this celebration all about?

When BW Drum Shop was being born, we knew we didn't want it to be just a drum shop or just a drum school, we wanted it to be a place to bring drummers of all ages and skill sets together.

A place where drummers and musicians can come together and enjoy this journey with us. 

Having been in the industry for so long, we felt it was time to call upon some old friends and see what we could do to end this year with a bang. Talking to a good friend of mine, Jamie, we decided it would be a great idea to put on our very first masterclass and clinic right here in Northampton. 

For those of you who haven't seen my Facebook posts or heard me talking about this, (which is unlikely because i'm so excited!) BW will be holding the Masterclass and Clinic at The Picturedrome in Northampton on Sunday 20th November. 

Who is Jamie?

Jamie Morrison is currently sticksman for the incredible pop/rock band Stereophonics. He has previously drummed for the Noisettes and has worked with the likes of Emili Sande, SIA, Babyshambles, Bryan Adams, Echo and the Bunnymen and KT Tunstall to name but a few. With a CV like that up his sleeve, this is a night you won't want to miss!

Not only this but he has recently been nominated for Best British Rock Drummer 2016 in association with Rhythm mag, so be sure to give him your vote HERE! Look for Best British.

What does the evening hold?

We have a limited number of Masterclass tickets with which you'll get the Clinic included - these are priced at £10. The masterclass will be from 4:30pm - 5:30pm where Jamie will share some of his drum knowledge with you. This will also be an opportunity for you to meet the man himself and ask any questions you may have. 

The Clinic will be from 7:30pm - 9:30pm, doors at 7, leaving you enough time to grab a beer and some food before the evening session. (I can recommend The Picturedromes' burgers!)

Getting the evening started, you will be lucky enough to experience ME on stage (!) where I will share the story of where this all began. Jamie will then join me and both of us will perform to our favourite tracks, whilst sharing tips and tricks of the trade.

It's time to bring us all together for what I hope will be a very special night for BW and a sign of what we've got to come as we grow from strength to strength. We are so proud of what we have achieved and it's thanks to the support of our friends and customers from all over the world that we are able to put on this show. 

I would absolutely love to see you all there, let's give Jamie the welcome to Northampton that I know we can and come and celebrate with us!
